The pressure is building!

Hi all,

OK, I'm feeling a little more pressure now that week three is here.

First piece of work has been submitted, and two more assignments are being tackled atm!
I've found that if I manage to get a little achieved each day...I don't feel so aaarrrggghhh!

This online learning is quite a challenge for me. Ensuring that I set time aside each day is sometimes difficult. Last week I found myself bouncing on the trampoline with my 4 year old daughter...thinking I should be inside reading, blogging, flickring, tweeting or something!...but no - at that time all I really needed was a good bounce on the trampoline. I felt so much better for it. I can reccommend this therapy for anyone!

I try to keep the online stuff for when my daughter is at kindy; so far it's working.

The week ahead looks busy, so I'm off to tackle those two assignments.

What A Week

Well, ...almost at the end of week one in study land...and I'm feeling OK.

I'm enjoying the whole process atm. Being out of one's comfort zones can be exciting, and can certainly open doors that may have stay shut for years.

This week I've managed to complete set readings for all 3 subjects, visit a school library to meet the librarian, begin to explore assignment ideas, create several social networking accounts; some that I am still trying to understand, and remain relatively sane.

What a week!

Looking forward to learning so much more

Bye for now

Finally a BLOGGER!

Well, here goes. This is the first time I've used a blog and I must say I'm feeling quite clever!

In the past week I have created accounts with flickr, twitter, delicious and now this blog. The only social networking site I was familiar with was Facebook, but wow, hasn't my world just opened up!

Creating this blog is a requirement for the study I have just begun. I am doing the Master of Education - Teacher Librarianship course through Charles Sturt University.

To be honest, I was a lttle apprehensive upon reading  the requirements for the subject INF506, as my knowledge of social networking sites is fairly limited. Thank god I have teenage children to rely on!

All I can do is give it my best...and learn as I go! I'm looking forward to it.

Anyway, bye for now. I must go tweet that I've just created my blog! Who knew learning could be such fun?
